Die landschaftlich reizvolle Pustertaler Höhenstraße erstreckt sich oberhalb des Pustertals von der Ortschaft Abfaltersbach (1050 m) nach Leisach (675 m). Die 29 km lange Strecke führt am Nordhang des Tals entlang und ist eine lohnende Alternative zu der unten im Tal verlaufenden B100. Von der Höhenstraße hat man einen phantastischen Blick auf die Lienzer Dolomiten. Die Straße ist durchgehend asphaltiert und wird gut in Stand gehalten. In Kurven und Ortschaften wird die Straße teilweise sehr eng und schmal. Mit landwirtschaftlichem Verkehr und Vieh ist jederzeit zu rechnen. Also Aufpassen heißt hier die Devise.
